We are seeking sewing candidates to work in a fast paced manufacturing company. Candidates must be reliable and have good work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works from verbal and written instructions
  • Performs sewing of components and/or sub-assemblies
  • Assemble two or more fabric piece parts by sewing seams following sample, verbal or written instructions
  • Work with various types of materials such as heavy fabric, vinyl, leather, canvas and plastics
  • Replace needles, bobbins and thread. Thread needles and adjust thread and spool tensions as required
  • Visually inspect materials and work performed before and after sewing for defects, i.e. loose stitching, proper seam allowance and seam alignment, to ensure adherence to established quality standards
  • Stamp employee identification number on each piece produced
  • Notify Supervisor or Group Leader of problems for disposition or remedy
  • Performs daily maintenance duties on sewing machines, i.e. oiling and lint removal, and
  • Looks for ways to improve sewing processes

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for all of the regular shift as well as bend, reach and stoop
  • Must be able to keep up with the production lines
  • Drug test required

Pay Rate: 1st $11 or more depends of experience.

Days/Hours (shift): Monday- Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)

Injection Molding

Location: Sussex, WI

Employment type: Full-Time/Temp to Hire

Safely operates injection molding press machines to meet specified production and quality standards.
Includes the assembly, inspection and packaging of parts as well as performing secondary operations as
needed.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Operates automatic and semi-automatic molding machines. Observes operation of machines
    and promptly notifies Supervisor, Team Leader or technician whenever problems occur to
    ensure that output is per standard.
  • Takes part from press and trims excess material as needed to meet the customer’s agreed-upon
    quality standards.
  • Examines molded product for any quality defects based on product standards and written
    instructions to assure that defective parts are not packed. Notify technicians and Team Leader
    of problems in a timely manner.
  • Performs secondary operations as required to produce parts to customer’s agreed-upon
    standards. This includes, but is not limited to, hot stamping, drill presses, gluing, cutting and
    assembly.
  • Puts excess material and unsatisfactory parts in regrind container to be collected and recycled
    by the Grinder.
  • Meets specified production rate as stated on work order for cost-effectiveness and to meet
    customer deadlines.
  • Packs only acceptable finished product to specifications on work order. Make, seal and label
    boxes or stack on skids as instructed to accommodate shipping needs.
  • Completes the operator ticket accurately to document work completed during the shift to
    assure accurate production and inventory records.
  • Responsible for putting the first shot of the shift at the end of the press on the center shelf of
    the product standard shelves for the Team Leader. This must be done as soon as the Operator
    gets to the press at the beginning of the shift– the same time that the production ticket is being
    filled in for the start count.
  • Maintains a safe working environment to minimize the possibility of an injury. Reports any
    unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintains area in a clean and orderly manner to create a pleasant and productive work
    environment.
  • Assists with the training of temporaries and new employees as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Uses good interpersonal communication techniques to work with co-workers. Is courteous and
    helpful when interacting with fellow employees. Helps to create a pleasant work environment.
  • Learns, practices and supports all Lean Manufacturing tools to assist the Company in the
    continuous improvement process. Lean Manufacturing tools include 5S, Six Sigma, Single Minute
    Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Value Stream Mapping
    (VPM).

Job Requirements:

  • Must have the equivalent of a high school diploma preferred.
  • Must be able to perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. to shoulder height preferred

Days/Hours/Pay rate: Monday-Friday
1st shift 7:30am to 3:30pm $13.50 + $0.50 cents for attendance bonus.
2nd shift 3:30pm to 11:30pm 10.75 + $0.50 cents for attendance bonus.
3rd shift 11:30pm-7:30am- $ 11.50+ $1.50 cents for attendance bonus.
*Occasional Overtime offered but not required.

Line Lead

Location: North of Milwaukee

Summary:
Under the direction of the Operations Manager or designee, the Line Lead is responsible for ensuring
their specific line is running smoothly. This individual will be required to assist with the training and
development of temporary, seasonal, or regular employees. Working independently and with your team
is a requirement to ensure we can meet the demands of the business.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
and forklifts. The environment is ventilated, air conditioned, damp, and with vibrations. The ground can
be uneven. The employee will rarely be exposed to fumes/gases and/or chemicals. Employees are
required to wear the following protective equipment: hard hat, hair and/or beard net, steel toed boots
(or equivalent), eye wear, and cut gloves. Hearing protection is optional. The employee is performing
the job indoors.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures work area is clean before and during shift; sanitizer filled and by workstation before the
    start of shift.
  • Ensures paperwork matches the product being run and is correct.
  • Collects appropriate signatures on paperwork and labels before and after running products, as
    directed.
  • Communicates all changeovers to staff.
  • Calibrates thermometers before going live on lines.
  • Works with the appropriate supervisor to correct, train, and develop staff especially as it
    pertains to job responsibilities, personal protective equipment, and standard operating
    procedures.
  • Completes paperwork to specifications given by Managers and based on PSAs.
  • Prints SCADA reports as directed.
  • Communicates necessary improvements or needs to Managers; may be asked to fill out a work
    order.
  • Provides line support when needed (as General Labor, Operator, Loader, Palletizer, or other);
    therefore, must understand and perform the functions/responsibilities of each role on the line.
  • Works as a team player to ensure company is meeting the business demands of our customers
    and to ensure the floor is running smoothly.
  • Other tasks as assigned by management to ensure there is nothing wrong with the product or packages

Job Requirements:

  • Employee must be able to frequently bend and twist at the waist and frequently tilt their head; occasionally the employee needs to squat and climb stairs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to comprehend instructions given orally. Must be able to read and write in English for purposes of documentation, training of staff, and comprehension of PSAs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
  • The employee may be required to handle or lift product up to 56 pounds below shoulder height 5 feet or less.
  • The employee must be able to frequently reach, push, pull and handle materials below the shoulder and rarely handle material above the shoulder.
