Sewing

Location: Milwaukee

We are seeking sewing candidates to work in a fast paced manufacturing company. Candidates must be reliable and have good work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

Works from verbal and written instructions
Performs sewing of components and/or sub-assemblies
Assemble two or more fabric piece parts by sewing seams following sample, verbal or written instructions
Work with various types of materials such as heavy fabric, vinyl, leather, canvas and plastics
Replace needles, bobbins and thread. Thread needles and adjust thread and spool tensions as required
Visually inspect materials and work performed before and after sewing for defects, i.e. loose stitching, proper seam allowance and seam alignment, to ensure adherence to established quality standards
Stamp employee identification number on each piece produced
Notify Supervisor or Group Leader of problems for disposition or remedy
Performs daily maintenance duties on sewing machines, i.e. oiling and lint removal, and
Looks for ways to improve sewing processes

Job Requirements:

Must be able to stand for all of the regular shift as well as bend, reach and stoop
Must be able to keep up with the production lines
Drug test required

Pay Rate: 1st $11 or more depends of experience.

Days/Hours (shift): Monday- Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)

*Hours are subject to change depending on workload, must be flexible as days off change on a weekly basis.

Screen Print Catcher

Location: North of Milwaukee, WI
Employment type: Full-Time

We are looking for a candidate to work in a fast paced high energy environment as a
Screen Print Catcher, responsible for production inventory counts, quality control,
verifying work with production work orders and entering information into system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receives job assignments directed from press operator.
• Assists press operator in setting up press. Lays out stock.
• Counts inventory prior to production run, and verifies counts after production
with work order
• Unloads printed or items from dryer, counts and stacks goods. Boxes printed
goods after printing
• Inspect printed item for print quality such as registration, pinholes, screen
breakdown, ink issues
• Maintain production records as required.
• Cleans press and print station.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

Working on the line grabbing rolls of product, packing them, also requires putting cans and lids.
Keep the work area clean
Keep your hands clean at all times when handling the product.
Pay attention to details to make sure there is nothing wrong with the product or packages.

Job Requirements:

Must have and wear protective gear.
Must be able to stand for all of the regular shift as well as bend, reach and stoop.

Food Manufacturing

We are looking for a Production Team Member to join a fast-growing food manufacturing company.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this person will assist in the production of delicious pretzel
bread!

Job Responsibilities:

Complete a variety of manual labor tasks in the production of baked goods.
Monitor product quality according to company standards (proper size, color, cut, texture,
packaging, etc).
Physically move, push, and/or handle product, materials, and equipment (racks, pans, product,
etc.).
Addressing production issues with line operator.
Understand and execute lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures.
Complete standard sanitation tasks as assigned.
Perform housekeeping and maintenance tasks to keep the production area clean, organized,
and safe.
Work with Production Supervisor and other production team members to manage production
workflow.
Monitor and continuously make improvements to meet and exceed company standards.
Understand and promote Miller Baking’s Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP,
and GMPs to ensure safety and quality of employees and products.

Job Requirements:
Previous experience in a plant production environment and/or in drug, food, or beverage
manufacturing preferred.

Injection Molding

Location: Sussex, WI

Employment type: Full-Time/Temp to Hire

Safely operates injection molding press machines to meet specified production and quality standards.
Includes the assembly, inspection and packaging of parts as well as performing secondary operations as
needed.
Job Responsibilities:

Operates automatic and semi-automatic molding machines. Observes operation of machines
and promptly notifies Supervisor, Team Leader or technician whenever problems occur to
ensure that output is per standard.
Takes part from press and trims excess material as needed to meet the customer’s agreed-upon
quality standards.
Examines molded product for any quality defects based on product standards and written
instructions to assure that defective parts are not packed. Notify technicians and Team Leader
of problems in a timely manner.
Performs secondary operations as required to produce parts to customer’s agreed-upon
standards. This includes, but is not limited to, hot stamping, drill presses, gluing, cutting and
assembly.
Puts excess material and unsatisfactory parts in regrind container to be collected and recycled
by the Grinder.
Meets specified production rate as stated on work order for cost-effectiveness and to meet
customer deadlines.
Packs only acceptable finished product to specifications on work order. Make, seal and label
boxes or stack on skids as instructed to accommodate shipping needs.
Completes the operator ticket accurately to document work completed during the shift to
assure accurate production and inventory records.
Responsible for putting the first shot of the shift at the end of the press on the center shelf of
the product standard shelves for the Team Leader. This must be done as soon as the Operator
gets to the press at the beginning of the shift– the same time that the production ticket is being
filled in for the start count.
Maintains a safe working environment to minimize the possibility of an injury. Reports any
unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Maintains area in a clean and orderly manner to create a pleasant and productive work
environment.
Assists with the training of temporaries and new employees as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Uses good interpersonal communication techniques to work with co-workers. Is courteous and
helpful when interacting with fellow employees. Helps to create a pleasant work environment.
Learns, practices and supports all Lean Manufacturing tools to assist the Company in the
continuous improvement process. Lean Manufacturing tools include 5S, Six Sigma, Single Minute
Exchange of Dies (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Value Stream Mapping
(VPM).

Job Requirements:

Must have the equivalent of a high school diploma preferred.
Must be able to perform basic math skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. to shoulder height preferred
Good attendance and punctuality at previous jobs

Days/Hours/Pay rate: Monday-Friday
1st shift 7:30am to 3:30pm $13.50 + $0.50 cents for attendance bonus.
2nd shift 3:30pm to 11:30pm 10.75 + $0.50 cents for attendance bonus.
3rd shift 11:30pm-7:30am- $ 11.50+ $1.50 cents for attendance bonus.
*Occasional Overtime offered but not required.
